The Room
Reporters don't write about what they can't follow. We make the technology legible, then take it to the few journalists whose coverage actually moves something.
PR, Branding, Policy for Deeptech Founders
Category beats company. The strongest companies explain the future by naming the change happening around them. They define the problem. They create the language everyone else starts using and, eventually, when people talk about the category, they talk about them. Byline helps companies with the journey to own that conversation.

MANIFESTO
Most deeptech communications are written for the wrong reader.
Companies often communicate from the inside out. They explain what they built, how it works and why they think it matters. But investors, customers, journalists, policymakers and future employees all read the same words differently. The best communications don’t start with what a company wants to say. They start with what the audience needs to hear.
Byline is deliberately small. Every engagement is founder-led. We build strategy, shape stories and deliver the work ourselves, supported by a trusted network of senior specialists we’ve worked with for years. No layers of account managers. No senior pitch followed by a junior handover.
We work with a small number of deeptech companies at any one time. Not because scarcity is a marketing tactic, but because this work only succeeds when every client gets our full attention. We’ll grow carefully, without sacrificing direct access, senior thinking or the standards the business was built on. If we’re at capacity, we’re at capacity.
Small by design. Senior by default. No layers. No handovers.

01 · Media Relations
Reporters don't write about what they can't follow. We make the technology legible, then take it to the few journalists whose coverage actually moves something.

02 · Content Creation
Releases, bylines, decks, one-pagers. Written by people who understand the work, so it holds up in front of the people who understand it too.

03 · Design
A breakthrough still gets judged on its slides. We build the visual language that matches what you have actually built, before anyone reads a word of it.

04 · Branding
Rebrands, repositioning, quiet pivots. When what you are building changes, we rewrite the story around it and make sure the market updates with you.

05 · Crisis Comms
A leak, a lawsuit, a bad week. We hold one steady version of events on the record and answer the hard question before someone answers it for you.

06 · Public Policy
Regulation decides which frontier technology gets built and which gets stalled. We put your case in front of the people drafting it, in the language they already use.
